LONDON EYE – A modern and very popular tourist attraction is the London Eye, a giant observation wheel located in the Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank of the River Thames. The 135 meter (443 ft) tall structure was built as part of London’s millennium celebrations. The wheel rotates at 26 cm (10 in) per second (about 0.9 km/h or 0.6 m/h) so that one revolution takes about 30 minutes. In September 2014, Coca-Cola signed an agreement to sponsor the London Eye for two years, starting from January 2015. Photographed on 2nd October, 2015.
